Meet Randy Texter, our new Program Director!
Hi! I’m Randy Texter.
I have been involved in youth ministry in one way or another since the winter of 2003. While serving as a counselor during a winter retreat at Westminster Highlands, I was introduced to youth ministry, camping ministry, and my calling all in one wild weekend. I have served various roles in various churches since then, serving as youth volunteer, youth leader, youth pastor, worship band guitarist, resident nerd, maintenance man, fill-in pastor, welcome committee….. the list goes on. I was a counselor on summer staff for three years at the Highlands starting in 2004, then I volunteered as much as I could every summer doing whatever needed to be done from 2008-2012. They hired me to be the full-time maintenance man in 2013. From there, the job morphed and changed and by the time I left in 2015 I was responsible for the program director’s duties as well. I have not been as involved in camping ministry as I would have liked to have been since then, but I am extremely grateful and overjoyed that God brought me back to where my heart is most happy.
I have been married to my wife, Jessica, for almost 17 years, and we have three wacky children. We also have a cat, Rajah, that is almost 18 and the grumpiest old man you’ve ever met.
When I am not hanging out with my family, in my “free time”, I most enjoy being outside. I love being on the water. I love kayaking and whitewater rafting. I also enjoy disc golf, as it gives me an excellent excuse to go hiking. I love mountain climbing and rock climbing.
I cannot wait to meet all of you and serve Jesus side-by-side with you!

Meet Our Staff
Mike Little
Executive Director
Mike has been on staff for nearly 15 years, first as Buildings/Grounds Challenge Course Director and now as Executive Director. He is married to Becky and they have four grown children and one grandson. The whole family has served at Crestfield in various roles through the years. Mike's passions include: his family, serving Christ and the Crestfield family, playing games, and participating in just about any sport.
Abbey Little
Registrar
Crestfield has always had a special place in Abbey's heart, whether that was attending summer camp as a camper, living on the property growing up, or working as a part of the staff. Abbey was 10 years old when she moved to Crestfield and 14 years old when she started working for Crestfield. Abbey's greatest passion is spending time with her son, River, her family, and 3 German Shepherds. She also loves playing volleyball competitively.
Renee Wallace
Transitional Program Support
Renee is the former Crestfield Program Director. She will remain on staff in a limited capacity through the spring of 2026 to support Randy as he gets up to speed.
Jeremiah Wagner
Program Staff
Jeremiah has been serving at Crestfield for nearly a decade and has a deep passion for both camp and Jesus. In his free time he enjoys playing video games, walking, eating, and sleeping.
Rev. John Creekpaum
Camp Chaplain and Day Camp Director
John is back on staff at Crestfield after several years away. Since his last summer at Crestfield he has attended seminary, served as a pastor, and stayed home with his three kids. We're glad to have him back!
Cassi Jewel
Waterfront Director
Cassi is a teacher during the school year and works at the Crestfield Waterfront in the summer. She started working at Crestfield in college, and has been back nearly every summer since.
